Blessings

We've been in revival since the first Sunday of February. No, let me say, we've been in a spirit of revival here in Deweyville for quite sometime. My husband and my son, Michael have been doing some awesome preaching. So we were prepared and anticipating a wonderful move of God. And what a wonderful time we're having!

The Charles O'Rourke family is with us. We've grown to love them and appreciate his ministry so much. They are a couple whose ministry is not just inside the building. They will visit those whose names are given to them by family or friends of the individuals.

So far, we have seen at least 11 receive the Holy Ghost. I think 3 or more have been baptized. Healings have taken place !!

As some of you may know, I had a MRI done (from the waist down) in January. It showed I had 2 buldging discs (don't know what's going on above the waist). I have barely been able to walk, at times. The sciatica nerve has really been giving me fits. I am believing God for my complete healing. During this revival the Lord has mightily touched me. I am sooo thankful. I ran around the church a few nights ago, 5 TIMES. (let me clarify, that was 1 section of the pews). I didn't feel a pain in my body while I was running. I am MUCH better and believing God to completely heal me.

Tonight is a rest night. We REST in knowing something wonderful is going to happen tomorrow night. Someone will receive their miracle !!

God's best to all of you !! Enjoy the blessings of God. . .they are abundant!!

My Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day to you all.

Now I don't research the origin of holidays. I just enjoy them as being "American." I grew up with that concept and haven't considered changing. To me, Valentine's Day is all about LOVE.

I don't think my husband is a regular visitor to my blogspot. . .but just in case he visits, I want to tell him something. (all of you out there in blogger-land can fast forward if your choose)
I celebrate our love every day not just on Feb. 14. I realize out of allllll the girls you could have chosen, you chose me. You have given to me an unconditional love that surpasses anything I could ever imagine. You, my sweet husband, have been the godly example of love in my life. I can't imagine life without you. I LOVE YOU.

It is my husband's unconditional love for me that helped me to finally understand and accept the unconditional love of God. I won't go into the details but for me it was many years after receiving the Holy Ghost that I could finally believe God loved me. . . unconditionally. "Oh, what manner of LOVE the Father hath bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God." What an honor and privilege to be a recipient of Your love.

To my children and grands, YOU ALL MAKE MY DAYS !!!! Your love and your laughter fill my heart with joy.

I'm a blessed lady. I'm loved therefore, I'm blessed.

Love you all

I'm still alive !!

HELLOOOOO. IS ANYBODY THERE??? DON'T GIVE UP ON ME!! I'M HERE. BEEN GONE AWHILE BUT I'M STILL HERE! You know, I had a blog in the making shortly after we came home from Balch Springs. We had gone to visit Mandy and Andrew and celebrate Ashlyn's 2nd b'day. We had such a wonderful time. It was an awesome week-end. The 'elder' Elms' were there also.
Well, I had pictures I wanted to share. But I just couldn't seem to get them where I wanted them to be sooo I just put it all aside and tho't. I'd give up on blogging. Well, still gotta work on the "picture thing," but I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED. lol
I've been busy and just haven't had time for tutorials. lol
My mother's 80th b'day reception was a hugh success. (I don't have pictures to post yet. I was too busy that day to take pictures and the ones given to me were a little blurry) I would say between 85 and 100 people came to help celebrate. My girls, Mandy and Stephanie, were such so wonderful to help me. Couldn't have pulled it off without them. My sister, Kathy, didn't get to come until late Fri. night. A long trip for her for such a short stay. The State Representative for that area stopped by with a framed commemoration in honor of mother's special day. Also, Kentucky's governor, Steven Beshear called her with well wishes for the day. He is from our hometown so we have known him many yrs. I was so surprised he took the time to give her a call.
When I got home I had to kick in with praise singer practices getting ready for TWC. It's gonna be a great conf. Sis. Russo and the committee that works with her put much time, energy and prayers into this event. I really do covet your prayers. The older I get the more "anxious" (?) I get. Please say a little extra prayer for me and all those wonderful people who are helping me.
Sorry there are no pictures to share this time. Lord willing, after ladies' conf. I'll get a refresher course. And, by the way, I haven't had time to even take that new telescope outside, yet.
I know I'm talking your leg off but it's been a while since we visited. Love you all. Thanks for your prayers and just being my friend.
